Jones, J. Neil (Dufferin Lodge #338 AF & AM). After living his life with integrity, grace and courage, Neil is now safely in the arms of the Lord. It is with great sadness his family announces his passing, in profound peace, surrounded by his family and enveloped by their love, on Thursday January 28, 2010 at Woodlands of Sunset Welland, Ontario in his 91st year.

Neil Jones beloved husband for 50 years of the late Audrey (Cober) Jones (1991) and much loved dad to Donna and David Gardner, RR2 Welland, Melvin and Joyce Jones, Dunnville, Nancy and Ronald Thornton, Toronto, Sheila Jones and friend, Sandy O'Dell, Welland, Ronald and Clara Jones, Port Robinson. He was adored and devoted grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Neil was predeceased by his parents Bertha and Orlan Jones, his brother Ross Jones (2008) and brothers-in-law Frank Cober and Donald Cober. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Violet Jones, Nipissing, Merle Cober, Dunnville, and Kathleen Cober, Elmira, as well as a very dear, devoted friend Mildred Hoover, Dunnville. Neil lived a life of service to his community, serving as church elder for many years, and 65 years as a Mason, many as an officer, including District Deputy Grand Master.

To honour Neil's life the family will receive friends at Bethany United Church (Robinson Rd)on Saturday January 30, 2010 from 12 noon to 2:00pm. A Masonic Memorial service will follow at 2pm with Funeral Services immediately following. Interment Sensabaugh Cemetery. The family wish to pay a special tribute to the Maples staff at Woodlands of Sunset for the outstanding care, dedication, and love given to Dad in his 51/2 years as a resident there.
