After a lengthy battle with cancer which Richard faced with courage and an unwavering faith, the Lord called to glory His child on Tuesday February 16, 2010, at his home. He is survived by his devoted wife, Willy (nee Sjaarda) of 50 years. The loving Father of Ken and Nancy Zantingh, Bruce and Liz Zantingh, Sonya and Gerald tebrake, Chris and Monica Zantingh, Cynthia and Alex Buist, Andrew and Kelly Zantingh, Joanne and Eric DeKorte. The beloved Grandfather to 36 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters Joe and Elly Zantingh, the late Ali and Harm Kelly, John and Alida Zantingh, Bert and Fenna Zantingh, Aleda and Mel Rozema, Sienie and Albert Katerberg, Jane and Martin Vanderveen, Henry and Brenda Zantingh, Jerry and Helen Zantingh, Rhea and Ed DeVries. Sadly missed brother-in-law to Hilly, Bob and Gay, Pier and Martha, Aafke, Wieger and Gertie, and Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church ( 17 Robinson Rd) Dunnville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.Funeral service will take place on Saturday February 20, 2010 at 1:00 pm.
